Paint wont work

My son used this app the first day and it worked perfectly but he has tried using it the last couple of days and the paint will not work. The audio from the characters work perfectly and he can click on finished to save or trash his artwork he can browse around just fine but he cant draw. Its a shame because he really enjoyed drawing with it before.
